Careem: Free taxi rides when vaccinated

The Dubai Taxi (Hala) is offering residents across the Emirate a free ride home from select vaccination centres. This is part of its drive to support the city and those who wish to participate in the vaccination programme.

The free ride can be hailed from 10 vaccination centers by using the promo code ‘HALAVAC’ when booking a taxi on the Careem app.

As per the terms of the offer, it gives 100 per cent credit back (max Dh30) for two rides. The credit back is only valid for amount paid through cash or card and not on amount paid through wallet. The offer is valid until February 18, 2021.

How to avail of the offer:

• Open the Careem app and click Hala Taxi.
• Select your pick-up and drop off location at any of the listed centres.
• Select your suitable ride: Hala (Dubai Taxi) or Hala Van (Dubai Taxi).
• At the bottom of the screen, click on discount and add the promo code HALAVAC
