Joe Lynn Turner is a legendary American vocalist who gained worldwide fame as the frontman of three of the best hard rock bands of the 1980s: Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force and Deep Purple. Thanks to him Blackmore conquered the American charts with “Difficult To Cure” (1981), “Straight Between The Eyes” (1982) and “Bent Out Of Shape” (1983), which went gold there and gave fans such hits as “I Surrender”, “Stone Cold”, “Street Of Dreams”. Then with another great guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, Turner recorded two more gold records: “Odyssey” (1987) and “Trial By Fire” (1989), and was invited to Bad Company and Foreigner, but chose to be a vocalist in the legendary band Deep Purple, with whom he recorded the album “Slaves And Masters” (1990), which also went gold!
During his long career Joe Lynn Turner took part in dozens of projects: Fandango, Mother’s Army, Brazen Abbot, Sunstorm, Avantasia, Hughes Turner Project with another great vocalist from the Deep Purple family, Glenn Hughes. Turner’s voice can even be heard on Cher and Michael Bolton’s CDs. In 2021 Turner sang on the Michael Schenker Group’s “Immortal” album and began recording his new solo album.
At the concert on December 16, 2023 in Dubai, fans will be treated to an avalanche of hits from the golden era of rock from one of the best singers in its history!
