Kung Korean Restaurant

Karaoke nights can split a group down the middle: some turn up their noses, while others eagerly rifle through their mental songbooks. In Dubai, there are plenty of opportunities to indulge in this guilty pleasure. Harry Ghatto’s at Jumeirah Emirates Towers is a favorite, but the off-the-radar Kung Korean Restaurant & Karaoke in TECOM offers a more authentic experience. Our group of seven was divided on the decision, but we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The restaurant exuded authenticity, with Koreans leaving as we entered. The private karaoke rooms were equipped with everything needed for a lively night: large screens, good mics, and an extensive song list. As the night progressed, the atmosphere became cheerier, with singers vying for the mic and revelers dancing on tables. It felt like a naughty secret hidden behind the doors of a family restaurant.
