Saucony is a leading global running lifestyle brand that fuses performance and style to produce award-winning footwear and apparel for runners everywhere. Founded in 1898, Saucony’s earliest roots trace back to the banks of the Saucony Creek in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
In 1910, Abraham Hyde, a Russian immigrant started a shoe company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, called Hyde Athletic Industries. By the late 1990s, when Saucony became Hyde’s dominant brand, the name of the company was officially changed from Hyde Athletic Industries to Saucony Inc. Through the 80’s and 90’s Saucony continued to develop, grow and expand their line of running shoes and apparel.
